 The Legion is based on the unique space born mega hive of Sphaera. This unique pre-imperial is noted for is extra-dimensional properties, for while the exterior is a massive warp capable space station dwarfing even Ramilies Class Star-forts in size, it could clearly not physically contain the interior. This is accessed via the “Great Oculus”, a cavernous opening on the surface of the station, and consists of a “miniature” so called “Dyson sphere” approximately 6,000 miles in diameter. The great city of Sphaera covers the entire internal surface of the sphere, it’s towers reaching upwards towards a ball of fusion energy that forms an artificial sun at the centre of the sphere. The clearly impossible nature of this architecture has led some to believe that the interior of the Sphaera does not exist within our universe at all, and that the apparent exterior is in-fact just a vast portal to whatever trans-dimensional realm the city exists in.{{Picture Box Left
